I was asked by the department for student wellbeing at Sheffield Hallam University if I could create a mural for their offices, situated in The Hubs building on the campus of the university. The brief was to create something that represented Sheffield and the life and vibrancy that the university brings to the city. This abstract representation takes inspiration from Sheffield’s brutalist architecture and industrial history, while the fluid form uses the university colours while remaining un-gendered to create an ebbing and flowing life source that brings colour and excitement.
