Lara, a lover of climbing, colour and North Wales mountains, asked me to create a custom mural to bring the outdoors inside. The inspiration for the piece was a view of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon and surrounding hills and mountains, emphasising the crag Clogwyn Du’r Arrdu and abstracting the view using colours and simplified shapes. We developed this bright and bold piece which I then hand painted onto her kitchen wall, like a window with a view where there wasn’t one before!
