‘Cracked Coffee’ Cafe Mural
Commission, Interior MuralBack in 2024 Cracked Coffee approached me to design some T-Shirts for them, and one of the directions I designed included a botanical illustration of a coffee plant. They went with another direction for their T-Shirts but called me back a year later to create a custom interior mural to decorate their new cafe space, with the coffe plant illustration as the inspiration. It was brilliant reworking the illustration I had created for them, adapting and expanding the design to fit into their cool and cosy cafe space in Mold, North Wales. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area, they have yummiest coffee and food and are a briliant bunch of humans!
The Mural is painted in the Cracked brand colours and designed as a minimal single line style botanical illustration – with a touch of artistic license to demonstrate how the fruit, buds and flowers look on the plant (even though technically it wouldn’t fuit and flower at the same time).
