Dressing the Space

A collaborative piece with Jake Clewis. Dressing the Space is a research inquiry my friend Jake undertook into the effect supergraphics have on a space, and the people that use it. My role within the project was minimal as the concept was driven by Jake's inquiry, but I helped with the technical side of the his final outcome: the installation of the phrase arrive and depart, into a conceivably unsafe space. Using a modular grid system Jake developed this custom type face which we were then able to install at a large scale into an underpass in Sheffield City Centre.
